Sorry, autopilot routes will not include jump bridges. I looked into what that would take briefly and decided that it fell a little too far outside the scope of what our team was trying to tackle.
Reconnect to drones requires you to be on-grid with the drones in question. You can reconnect after leaving system, docking, re-logging or otherwise abandoning them... the only caveat is that you are in the same ship that launched them to begin with. |

Infinion wrote:hey CCP Soulblighter, could you possibly consider adding jump commands to bookmarks as well? Would be nice for somewhat simplifying travel through multiple wormholes to empire space. Those K-space guys have it easy.
Checked into this real quick and we do have a precedent for interacting with objects via bookmark with station bookmarks allowing you to Dock. The problem for your request in particular is that bookmarked wormholes don't actually seem to be bookmarking the wormhole itself. It seems to be creating a generic bookmark at the location of the wormhole instead.
I suspect it has to do with the nature of wormholes disappearing. I don't know the bookmark system at all, and 5 minutes of poking around didn't reveal anything in particular.
I would recommend adding this feature request to the new small things thread. This would be a really good future papercut. |

On a more serious note i have concerns about Loot all the things what about yellow wrecks/cans and agro timers? will loot all the things only apply to white wrecks and cans? also will this bypass Secure can passwords. Please address second half of this. 10 pages and no mention
Pretty sure that has been addressed in other threads, but the loot all button is on the container window once it is open and essentially functions as though you selected everything and dragged it to your cargo hold. I can't bypass passwords (because you had to know the pw to open the can) , or agro timers. If you're going to be stealing when attempting to loot all, you'll get the warning about stealing as well. |

I brought up 5 incredibly crucial suggestions, all of which got ignored and many after me were responded to instead. I like these devs, they've done more in 3 weeks(based on importance) than CCP has ever done in half a year during my EvE experience. But I'm slightly irked at getting ignored like that. Seriously, that drone commands problem is a HUGE problem that irritates a lot of people. INB4 butthurt YES I'm severely butthurt at the moment. EDIT: See? Someone just complained about it above me.
It's not that we don't care or that we're ignoring any of the multitude of new feature requests in this thread. It's that this team just can't address them as we're quite literally out of time. We're finished with any new Eve feature work, and are going back to WoD full time once Crucible ships and it's clear we didn't totally break the game.
If you want to ensure they're being accounted for, try posting in this thread. Soundwave and Team BFF should be able to help get that taken care of moving forward. After all.... they were original papercuts team before we stole their thunder. |

I like all the stuff you guys are doing, but I was a little concerned by this. Often, I do "flyby" scoops where there are a cluster of wrecks or drones sitting in space and I'll line up a course that passes through them. Then I'll do quick scoops/loots as I pass through, but I keep my alignment so that I can warp away quickly if necessary. This change sounds like if I try that, my alignment will be instantly screwed up. If something is in range and thus I don't actually have to move, does my ship alignment change? What if I'm sitting still? Am I understanding it correctly? If I am, there needs to be an option to NOT move towards something.
Flyby scoops are still possible. If you're in range already, nothing new happens. It'll approach if you're out of range to open the can. |

Wouldn't it been easy to have a checkbox "use alliance JB or not" in the auopilot settings ??? or was it too difficult due to the fact of calculating the route? what was the issue in that not being done? im curios :)
Adding a checkbox is easy. It's making the checkbox do something new that is the hard part
Granted, even in this case I don't think it would be very hard. But it would require a better understanding of the autopilot code than I posses, which means that I would have to spend time getting familiar with the system, track down potential edge cases with injecting a new connections with a new connection type into the map data set that autopilot uses to find the shortest route for you. There's a lot of caching of data that happens with map information since there is so much of it, so the idea of screwing with that took the task from an easy addition to a potentially risky feature, in so far as there could be unforeseen fallout with other map features.
Add in the fact that we're talking about feature creep, and my time starts to look like it could be better spent implementing something that benefits more people and causes less potential fallout.
That said, this is the kind of thing BFF should be able to take on no problem since they'll be around to support it. I suggest you post it in the new "small things" thread that's currently stickied in General Discussion if it's not there already. |

BobFenner wrote:I absolutely love this but have one important question.
Does the anomaly despawn affect anomalies that have been ran in w-space?
This affects me as I will be able to sit cloaked in my ambush spot in an anomaly, whilst waiting for a lovely Noctis to appear without worrying that they will know I am there because the anomaly has not despawned yet.
And am REALLY looking forward this Expansion!
This change only effects your ability to prevent the site from successfully despawning, allowing another site to be spawned in the system after the appropriate timers are up.
The wrecks should stick around until they time out naturally so this shouldn't prevent you from preying on anyone foolish enough to bring an unescorted Noctis to a gun fight |
